Stan Powers was awarded the prestigious "Friends of Education" award for 2006-2007 by the state of Texas.

 

The Texas Classroom Teachers Association awards a private citizen this honor annually. The citizen is chosen for their support of Texas students by giving teachers the tools to motivate kids.
