Impressions Fine Jewelry and Gallery is a division of Powers Jewelry, Inc. Founded in 1976 by Melvin and Bonnye Powers, the company is owned and operated by sons Stan and Travis Powers.
Impressions opened in the fall of 2002. Located in Southwest Lubbock, it provides customers a very different and unique shopping experience. One of a kind fine jewelry and bridal designs by some of the countries top designers is Impressions trademark.
Impressions features exclusive designers including Mark Schneider, Lorenzo, Elma-Gil, Sara Blaine, Arlee Kasselman, Michael Jiang and Van Lachman. Unique, one-of-a-kind designs and a comfortable atmosphere are here for your viewing. Many customers tell us that our jewelry designs are unforgettable and you won’t see them anywhere else in the Lubbock area. More importantly we do not duplicate any of the designs we sell.
Impressions also represents some of the South Plains most gifted artists, including Jim Eppler, Joe Belt, Milton Rowley, Betty Blevins, Mae Wertz and Mildred Williams. Mediums include oil, watercolor, pencil, limited edition prints, limited edition bronze sculpture and photography.
Stan Powers and son Chris are both certified watchmakers. You’ll find them working daily inside the store specializing in fine watch repair and service. Not only do they provide quick service for our in-store customers but they provide repair service for over forty jewelry stores in four states.
Travis Powers, assisted by his son Duane, Perform all jewelry repairs and some custom work out of the Powers Jewelry location in Northwest Lubbock.
